Went to visit King Oscar of Kambalda. Huh? Well, my daughter lived
in Kambalda, when Oscar was 7 months old. The place is near
Kalgoorlie in West Australia. As one is want, I proclaimed Oscar
king of that territory, without consultation with the appropriate
authorities. There are some pretty interesting trees around there.
In fact, you could say that I went a bit overboard photographing
them. I had a ball. I mean, well, how often do you get into the
bush around Kambalda? There's even a lake there. But it has no
river draining it. So, over time the water got very, very salty.
Don't drop your camera in it.
